La pubblicazione in digitale del catalogo anticipa la tanto attesa uscita del quinto album dei TOOL, “Fear Inoculum” (RCA Records). Sia durante il tour nordamericano che quello europeo, la band di Los Angeles ha proiettato dal palco la data di uscita dell’album anticipando due nuovi brani in versione live: “Invincible” e “Descending“.
I TOOL si sono formati nel 1990. Hanno pubblicato quattro album in studio, tutti multi-platino: “Undertow” (1993), “Ænima” (1996), “Lateralus” (2001) e “10.000 Days” (2006); due EP, “72826” (1991) e “Opiate” (1992); il cofanetto “Salival” in edizione limitata (2000). La band ha vinto tre GRAMMY Awards®: Best Metal Performance (1998, “Ænima”), Best Metal Performance (2002, “Schism”) e Best Recording Package (2007, 10.000 giorni). Il gruppo è formato da Danny Carey (batteria), Justin Chancellor (basso), Adam Jones (chitarra) e Maynard James Keenan (voce).
