About the song
“Frozen Little Beings” is a dramatic and suspenseful story based on the events of 1959, when a group of hiking students died under mysterious circumstances in the mountains of the Northern Urals. The song gets to the heart of those tragic events, conveying a sense of fear, uncertainty and despair through powerful riffs, emotional vocals and somber lyrical imagery. The first verse introduces listeners to the mysterious “lights” spotted by the heroes in the night sky, their attempts to leave the camp and survive in the harsh conditions of the icy wasteland. “Run! Run! Time to shun!” – the piercing refrain is breathtaking, reflecting the heroes’ desperate rush to escape the unseen threat that is inexorably approaching.
