Il 29 luglio 2022 gli ARCH ENEMY pubblicheranno il loro undicesimo album in studio “Deceivers”, tramite Century Media Records.
Da oggi è invece disponibile un’ulteriore anticipazione del disco con la release del nuovo singolo “Sunset Over The Empire”.Il commento del leader e compositore principale degli Arch Enemy, Michael Amott:“Eccovi ‘Sunset Over The Empire’, un nuovo estratto da ‘Deceivers’. Questa è una canzone molto veloce con un ritmo implacabile che ho scritto immaginandomela come una ‘hit da pogo’! Dal punto di vista lirico è tristemente fin troppo veritiera e descrittiva dei giorni che stiamo attraversando…’Words turned to war, brother fighting brother, another false truce, as the people die…’.Il video è stato girato in Polonia assieme al team di Grupa13 e non segue pedissequamente il testo, ma ha un grande messaggio e un’atmosfera a sé stante.Ah, sono entusiasta che stiamo pubblicando ‘Sunset Over The Empire’ anche come un singolo fisico in edizione limitata su vinile da 7″!”
